That's exactly what I did. He is a little over one-year old now, and I have suspended a big Tupperware bowl towards top-half of his cage, eventually crix were too large to remain there long enough without escaping, and my cats had some to play with. I am feeding him superworms primarily now, and he loves those very much. The bowl was a great idea, it allowed Oscar to feed when he wanted to, without any stress or excessive handling.I raise my own supers for the most part, I dust them with calcium and vitamins, and Oscar is doing great.
