I read from "Green Iguana The Ultimate Owner's Manual" by James W. Hatfield III. Apparently, this owner had had it for 29 years...so it was probably well over 30 years old. It is well documented with a lot of green iguanas who have lived for a number of years, but then there are the ones that died from horrible malnutrition, too. Their diet are quite complicated and not a lot of people knows that when they buy a green iguana.
