Posted by: normnun at Sat May 19 11:52:29 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by normnun ] Went to the RR and at 9:00 it was 99 degrees.Stayed for an hour and saw nothing. There were wet spots in some of the low spots and some greening going on but way too hot.Left there and went to X-mas and at 11:00 it was 87 degrees w/slight breeze. One 2ft suboc, one 22in glossy and one night snake. You could flip a big rock and find some moisture, but the pavement was around 115 degrees.Nothing on the way back to Alpine.Between the picnic tables it was 76 degrees.Should have stayed in Alpine but I had the itch and it had rain reasonably well Monday.
