But there is some truth to this comment/ question and it has to do with many things such as: Iguanas can eat all day in the wild, food diversity and nutrient quality, are exposed to high constant UVB, genetics(yes there are different subspecies of green iguanas although some may not be classified), in captivity; inadequate husbandry, and lack of all of the above mentioned.
