If possible, take the male out completely to minimize her stress. If she has already left the egg box you might want to go through it carefully to see if she has already laid some eggs. She would also be visibly thinner after doing so. It's pretty easy to tell if a female has eggs in her as their bellies are pretty translucent. You'd hopefully see an egg on either side of her belly and they are about the size of a jordan almond when ready to be laid.
