Snapped a quick pic of one of my Samar's eating today. They are very "energetic" so with a mouse stuffed in his mouth I was finally able to get a semi clear picture!

They are a spitter species, but my pair has never tried spitting. I spoke with 2 other keepers and neither or them have experienced any spitting behavior either.

I usually keep crotes but couldn't pass up the chance to get a pair of these.
