Not pinkies, not mice but small fuzzies. Example the lozier we got earlier this year took them right away. Just provide a hide box and leave them over night. If that doesn't work, then you go down the path of (try F/T pinkies). If that doesn't work you can try live but I always suggest going small (harmless) if you try a live food source so the snake doesn't get hurt. If all of these fail, then its time to look into scenting. The little earless lizards you find on the cuts are what we try to use. Med Geckos work as well as scelops and uta's if you can get them. Scent pinkies first just to see if they will take them. In last resort, if its been a long time without feeding you can just feed the Alterna a F/T lizard. I wish you the best.
