I'm went to a small pond and collected tadpoles at different parts of there life and have them in a 30 gallon long tank. They have all stayed alive and I've been feedin them boiled spring mix for a few days. I have a few that are small with both front and back legs that have grown since I cought them. I have a few others that are much bigger and have little or no legs at all. I found them in Ventura County CA. How can I tell what species they are? And why are some bigger but with not feet at all?
