I am posting a public regret: I am sorry for not posting more on a forum where new entrants get to experience more from the 'old farts'.

Blame Facebook, lack of novelty, politics whatever: we as a hobby don't stay connected as we should to our 'base', those hobbyist just getting into the hobby.

Anyone reading this should remember, there was herping interest before Internet. Keep engaged with local herp societies, survey breeder websites, READ, etc. there is tons of info. If you are looking for more than info, engage your local herp society and check out breeder events/shows. For blood lovers, make a trip to Chicago to the NARBC, call it the bloodfest for a hint to the eye candy. You get The Blood Cell, Matt Turner, Jeff Hartwig amongst many other blood lovers.

Even me on occasion, at least when the wife lets me out....>LOL
