As you haven't kept reptiles in awhile, I suggest buying a young pair (under a year old) raise them up and get comfortable keeping them, then next fall, look into breeding. To buy a ready to breed pair now, means you have to do alot of homework and won't have much time to get them settled in before brumation.
Also, normal dragon's aren't going to give you much money in return, nor are they likely to be fast to sell. If you just want to breed for fun, I would recommend just breeding leopard or crested geckos, small egg yield and both are quite popular. They may have 8-10 eggs per season compared to the 20-100 eggs a healthy bearded dragon can have. ----- PHLdyPayne
