Peromyscus leucopus.....very hard to find ...I bred them for like 17? years ....got them from Ball Boutique waaaay back when....don't even know if he still has any....Kathy Love got some from me.....and I don't know (or remember) where you are....I sold all mine to a cousin...and I would bet good money he has 0 left...they act too crazy for most people......so....I bred.....>>>>>

Peromyscus

mice

rats

gerbils

chinese hamsters

russian hamsters

syrian hamsters

roborovski hamsters

ASFR

at onepoint....zebra mice, degus, spiny mice , some rabbits...never bred guinea pigs...

what I learned was that most snakes would eat anything IF all conditions were good for them....some balls like it hotter than other balls....I once had a batch of het amel balls...top one in rack acted restless.....middle one acted cold-ish...and ate just chinese and deer mice....I swithced them and one was now cooler one warmer...and they both ate anything...the chinese eater (for 4 or more years)ate rats and mcie too now....it took like 6 degrees...that's it....

.....alot of the "Odd thing" eaters eat them all....and won't eat rats or mice....anything BUT rats and mice.......so find anything.....russian hamsters bite....as do syrians....if you could get chinese hamsters....you would be set.....one pair per 5 gallon bucket, clean once a week...feed seed, lab chow etc etc and give them some veggies and always have a potatoe for them..(potatoe IS the water).....I personally had water bottle in each bucket...but watch ...they CAN and will climb up the single wire the bottle is on....so stagger buckets and have one above setting over wire....
