Texas was somewhat green in places, and pretty dry in others. Didnt spend any time east of Marathon so I cant speak on what was happening out there, but the western counties were pretty slow. On the bright side I had no negative run ins with wardens.








Saw a bunch of these.








Saw 4 or 5 of these.





A dozen or so of these including one from Jeff Davis County and this one from 22 miles south of Alpine. The population between the picnic tables is the most orange population of subocs in Tx. This snake was released so he could hopefully father lots of beautiful babies.



Saw a couple of these



And unfortunately only 1 of these
