>>My neice bought an adult corn snake from a snake show in NC in July. They said she had laid eggs. She was in shed. She shed, and now just a few weeks later she is in shed again. Is this normal?
Well, how many weeks is a few weeks? Is she eating large meals? They shed as they grow, so if they are fed a lot they can shed more often. Having said that sometimes they shed repeatedly if they have an ailment like a skin problem. It's their way of trying to heal. But can you give a guess at how many weeks between sheds? ----- Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!
