I just received my lampropeltis pyromelana pyromelana she's about two years old and so beautiful. She is settling in and runs away every time I walk by the cage. I hope she calms down and plan to give her some time before I start trying to handle her.

Just wanted to see if folks had some advise on how to help her adjust or advice from having a snake such as this in your life. This is my first snake and it may sound cheesy, but I just want to give her the best life I can.

I am also trying to find a source to acquire sone curved pieces of bark I can put in her cage. Any advice on hides would also be great.
