Bat in a Sign

I went to an Ohio state park today, because that's what I do on days like today.



From off in the distance, I could tell that something wasn't right with this sign.



It had a bat in it!



I opened the sign up, but the creature just made itself more comfortable.



I assumed the sign is his regular roosting place, so I let him be.



I found some herps like Pickerel Frogs.



And Dusky Salamanders.



But my favorite find wasn't a reptile or amphibian. It was a Northern Hog Sucker.



It was a great day to be out finding stuff!
