Or on the other hand both Hypo and Candy Stripe came from breeding siblings. IMO is worthwhile to do to some level. Obviously not to extreme and with forethought as to what to do in the future. ie out-crossing for vigor.

For me once siblings are bred there are two possible scenarios:
1) Most likely - nothing out of the ordinary, done breeding the siblings to each other.

2) Rare (very rare) - something different pops out, work the project in a responsible manner.



On the other hand some sibling pairings are already known to be problematic. For example Hypo's are prone to regurge problems. Depending on the lineage it might be very wise to not breed siblings. I'm even breeding hypo's to normals for out-crossed hets. And then two unrelated outcrossed hets are bred together for out-crossed Hypos (and pos hets to sell at normal pricing)


Remember, this came from breeding a sibling pair.....




As did this (several generations before).....
