Posted by: wireptile at Wed Sep 12 17:54:45 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by wireptile ] A USFWS "Special" Agent once confessed to me that they have families to support and have to justify their jobs somehow, and besides that, reptile hobbyists are safer to go after than actual poachers because they are less likely to have or use guns, and usually comply and pay fines, since they can't go to prison, due to having collections (and families) to support.
