I woke up at 4 this morning and of course checked on the snakes - nothing.

Checked them again at 8 and found this:




Exactly why I lower the water level and place a inverted clay dish in the water bowl when females are getting close to parturition.

Nine babies and 5 slugs. And from the same parents that produced Arwen, Gwen, Owen and Wendel!!
