Hey leo lovers,

I am slightly concerned about my female albino leopard gecko. She is around 10 years of age now, and her whole life she has been a great eater. She is always willing to eat. I have been feeding her a bit more often lately because it seems to me that her tail is getting skinnier. Her feeding routine has not changed in years, but now like I said, I am feeding her more often because I am noticing this. I don't know why it seems she is losing weight despite eating well, but it is a bit concerning to me.

There was one time a couple years back where she laid 2 infertile eggs as she never has mated, so could she be gravid again, and her nutrience is going to the eggs? Or could it potentially be internal parasites. I am trying to think if a fecal test is worth while. Her stool looks normal, but who knows.

Just wanted to see what you guys thought, and if you would recommend a fecal test be done or what it could be.

Thanks
