facebook has stolen alot of space from here....
bush league herp forums too...and a third I forget...I hate the style of the other forums...the way it's layed out....

this is the style I prefer...but noone is here (all forums)...

rats....and I didn't look at the date...could be years old here....

do you move mom around after birthing?
keep in colonies?
feed what?
bedding?
ages?

...I bred 1.5 rats per colony or more.(1.9)..never take male out.....I would take pregnant mothers out and place them in a lab cage when they were about to drop.....that way they are alone with the kids...nothing to do but take care of them....and feed well....

I used dog food, lab chow, corn, oats, sunflower, veggies, sweet potatoes ,peanuts, etc etc etc....(people will say NO sweet taders,NO raisins,NO dog food even,....)...I fed it all ....they get bored with one food....YET I know other people that are the opposite....they feed just lab block, or just dog food... and keep all rats together, all the time,, and have good luck.....

it's all what suites you....(and your rats)...
