They are funny animals as far as movement patterns go. I'm moving onto new pastures next year to see if I can replicate the successes I've had in 2 ranges so far. Definitely have to do your research well before heading out on these. Best thing I ever did is to convince my wife I NEEDED an ATV! Allows me to hit a lot of "roads" that most people would never take their personal vehicles on.

It really allows for more access into habitat that sees far less herping pressure. I added LID lights and I glow like Chernobyl on a remote/dark goat track! I always alert the first Border Patrol agent I see so as to not have 10 or so SUVs descend on me once I get cruising.
