This one is from the opposite coast though, and further south. Collier county(Naples). It was only about 18 inches. I just moved over from the hustle/bustle of Southeast florida where I have been for the past 11 years and am really enjoying living in a semi rural setting on the Southwest side. We had a Florida black bear walk through the back yard a few weeks ago, and deer regularly visit. As far as snakes, so far I have only seen black racers and ringnecks on our property, but I'm sure the list will grow.
