Hi guys, its been a while since I last checked this forum. Kayvon, you are right in that male mu's produce a lot of yellow semen, so you can figure what happened without being there.
That said, once in every few years a female tries to eat a male (3-4 times in 20 years) , so I always watch them, which means I may need up to 6 hours until they unhook, worth every minute in my opinion. (Dont worry, they usually hook up for less than one hour).
Mussuranas being so dear to me, once in a lifetime would be too much of a loss.
About breeding size: In the beggining , I got one wc young female that came in pregnant, she was not above 3 ft long, and safely laid 4 eggs. HOWEVER, cb ones frequently retain eggs if bred too early.
