there is a very good chance usark is going to try and work out a compromise to save boas at the hr511 hearing. usark is very pro compromise as we all know. there has already been an attempt to sell out the other large constrictors, to save boas. it happened at the first hearing on hr511 in february. if you dont believe me feel free to go to the linke. click watch video. go about 55 mins in and watch. congressman chaffetz from utah said he supported the bill but prurposed an amendment leave out boas and only boas. chaffetz said he had already talked to rooney and he was ok with it. chaffetz also read from the george town study that usark had done. so chaffetz had to have talked to someone from the reptile industry. maybe jeremy stone might know who he talked to. since jeremy is a big boa breeder, a big usark supporter, and is from utah. hr511 was dead until andrew wyatt went to DC with brady barr. 6 days later the bill started moving again. it makes no sense that this bill is even still being looked at. its a lame duck session. usark is keeping this bill alive. http://judiciary.house.gov/hearings/Markups 2012/mark_02282012.html
