Hey Cliff, very nice looking male.
But I'm a little confused. 1579 grams on a male not enough to be a breeder?? That's just ten grams under 3.5 lbs. Basic size for females is 3 lbs (better to be 3.5lbs) but the males do not need to be as large. More of an age thing than size with males.
So why is he not already at breeder status and what is the 1650 gram (3.63 lbs) level?
Personally I use 1500 grams as a "large enough" cutoff for my females and depending on the individual female and size litter desired I would even breed a slightly smaller female. ----- Thanks,
Dave Colling
