Laws are killing the venomous hobby in the States. When I was living over there venomous snakes were legal in Washington. Then they got banned and I moved to Idaho, where they were technically legal but getting an import permit was close to impossible. Laws kill the demand so the supply diminishes.

Now I live in Europe, and I see some amazing animals in decent size shows. The variety is incredible, even in Australian elapids. Most of the rare snakes that are sold on this website are European imports.
