Albinos come in two forms in the animal kingdom. T- , which is what we are used to seeing, as in albino ball pythons, albino red ear sliders, albino burmese pythons, etc. Then there is Tyrosine (T , aka Caramel Albino) which is a darker variety, and rarer.
This is one of our 2012 T (Caramel Albino) Iguanas. They have pink eyes, red pupils, and grow up to be very purplish/grey colored with unusual looking white. Real neat, we cant wait to produce these!People lump all the lutinos, caramel albinos, and coral glows into one category, but genetically speaking its impossible. All are seperate genes, all look different as adults, and all are inherited differently except for lutino and caramel which are simple recessive.
