Hi again, they are from the tropics, during the dry season they remain relatively inactive, that can last up to 8 months of the year in some parts of their range. In effect you need to offer a range of humidity, it will obviously be lowest around the basking area, perhaps 50% or slightly less, but in the cooler parts you need around 70% (of course the humidity will rise during the night if you turn the main heat lamps off), but they stil need to be breathing relatively humid air whilst active during the day.
