I'm not going herping in Africa (too expensive). I have found Corn Snakes in the wild. The thing is with milks is that there are many different subspecies, including one that lives close by me. This makes finding them enjoyable - even in local populations there's variations. The same thing can be said for Corns (and even Ball Pythons) but with Milks, it's the subspecies that make it extra interesting (and challenging).
