I think we all agree that as Herpers we learn that reptiles DO have distinct personalities - like many animals. It always makes me wonder why each individual is so different. (Like with Humans.)
Categorically we can make some claims based on observations & experience, but there are always exceptions, sometimes dramatic exceptions. (Among the thousands of Slaves, there is always at least one Sparticus waiting to emerge.)
What I'm most curious about with snakes is this:
*When did the first snake give live birth, as all others were laying eggs, and how did the offspring of that specimen survive to perpetuate ongoing live birth in Garters & other similar species?*
I will continue to ponder such questions with the Philosophers.
