My dragon, Kaida, started laying eggs yesterday. I am totally unprepared for this, and need help knowing what to do. Also, I confess that I made some unwise choices this past month which led up to this, so please don't reprimand me; I already feel guilty and worried.

Around Christmas, I was staying at a house that had a male bearded dragon. These two had contact and, dare I say, alone time together. (Long story, but the house exploded with reptiles as gifts and with 15 people in the house it was chaotic...) I never saw them mate, but it is a possibility.

Yesterday she started laying what I believe are eggs. However, a lot are squashed, and they do not have shells. She started about midday and continued "laying" through the night.

I was not expecting this. She is very skinny now. I have done research on what to do, and I know I should make sure she gets plenty of opportunities to drink, needs extra calcium and probably protein, and good lighting/temps. Is there anything else I should do to ensure her safety? She is 8 or 9 years old now. I am so worried that dumb choices last month could possibly lead me to losing my dragon now.

What do I do?
