Hi Stephen,

Yes, I've been working with these guys for years on and off as availability merited. Currently have one male. Got him on April 19, 2013, (along with a female). The female passed last December, (leaving veterinarians scratching their heads). The male is fine and fit as a fiddle. Went from 0.50 oz., (highly parasitized when I got him), to 1.90 oz. in the past year. Actually went to Laredo, Texas in 2012, (for a pair), and again in April of this year searching for a female. Most of my search was South of Laredo on the second trip. Found them, but woo they are fast!!! No luck in catching one. Went to your "SJ Pets" website, and found that you had them in February. One thing I've never done is find the correct "greens" for these guys. You said that they are omnivorous. What do you feed them as far as fruits or veggies are concerned? And how do you catch their interest in an unmoving item in their dish. On another note, I practice lay homeopathy on my lizards. If you have CB hatchlings, I may suggest two homeopathic medicines. They are Calcarea Phosphoricum, (mouth and teeth development), and Calcarea Carbonicum, (for Calcium deficiency). Both work with the Calcium supplements that you give the young to "kick" their systems into utilizing the calcium given. As I said above, noticed your website. Am interested in a female for my male. He did go after my female last year; there is no problem with breeding him! I stopped him due to her illness. If you want new bloodlines, I'll be glad to help. So will he. God knows, I gave 17 out of 19 babies to a pet shop years ago. I mean, unless you are a breeder, what can you do with all of those babies? Future ones may be yours if you want them. I am looking for an outlet for all of those little mouths to feed.

Thanks,

BonnieK

P.S. I don't get on my computer every day. Please be patient with me. I don't have Facebook or Twitter. Just e-mail.
