I got a 6 foot enclosure, with wood top covering 7/8 and screen covering the other 1/8. The Cool end is 70f and humity is like 90. The basking is about 120 . What I did was mix canadian shagnum moss potting soil with water to make nice and moist substarte. I put a log tunnel in the middle. I covered the sides with blck paper. I made half the tank a burrow, and the other side above burrow basking spot. Now he can go from a burrow to a basking spot. He seems to like it. When he see people coming he runs inside the burrow to hide. I also have a water dish in the burrow. WIll this work? I thought it was clever. He can no regulate his humity and temps. As well as thermal regulate him self under he=is uvb or halogen. WHAT DO YOU THINK? I have a millon question about theese creatures.
