I've wanted a chameleon and I'm finally at a place in my life where it's actually an option.

I live on the Oregon coast and I've been told by a friend that a Jackson will likely do best around here because of the climate. My issue is supply at this point. I have a screened terrarium, 18x18x20, but there aren't any pet stores around me that have chameleons around.

I have tried searching for breeders in Oregon, but I keep getting led to online ordering sites. Is there a better way to go about searching, or is ordering online a safe way to go? The last thing I want is to stress the little guy out which I worry cross country shipping could do.

Any advice at this point is greatly appreciated!
