Anyone keep Florida peninsula newt (N. v. piaropicola)?

From what I understand they skip the eft stage but do enjoy a haul out area from water .

I am planning on a pair for a 20 gallon long half filled with water , floating plants, few planted plants ,floating piece or corkbark as haul out area, temps 72 to 74 .

Not sure if temp bit to high?
