Bredl's Python Temperment?

I have always heard that Bredl's pythons have calm temperments. Last fall I got a baby male Bredl's that is the wickedest biter I have ever owned. He likes to launch and strike the glass any time I enter the snake room. He is about 5 months old now. Will he grow out of this? He makes my retics look like bearded dragons-lol. Thanks for your advice. Bill
