It was one of those temporary pools of water that dries up by the end of summer and, for some reason, is lined with orange mud! I never understood the orange mud thing. Anyway, there seemed to be 2 types of eggs in here, some translucent and some opaque. Spotted salamanders and maybe wood frogs? I’m also not certain what types of tadpoles these are. They were almost mosquito sized! If anyone can help me make a positive ID on these I’d greatly appreciate it. Sorry I couldn’t get a better photograph!
