His kidneys had failed and the vet told me the kind thing to do was not to wake him up. He was 14 years old, and he was the reason we have our other snakes. Without Boris when she was very young, my daughter wouldn't now have Frank and Martin (her ball pythons). My daughter and I went out to lunch today and celebrated Boris' life, telling all the many funny stories about him.
