Thanks Chrish. I usually can "google" this stuff and find the species, but not this time.

I use to collect snakes when I was younger, but now I just look and release. In the past few years I have discovered Rainbow, Brown, King, Green, Mud, Red Bellied Water, Copper Head, Cotton Mouth, Hognose, Ringneck, Red Rat, Black Rat, Black Racer, Rattle (dead) and Scarlet snakes here in NC.

This year in Costa Rica, we stumbled upon a Eye Lash viper (bright yellow phase) and then this Viperine in Morocco. I will attach the link for the Eye Lash viper. He was only 8 inches and about as thick as a pencil.

Thanks again. I looked up Viperine and that is definitely a positive ID.
