You are correct- many many different localities of chuckwallas- usually you can make a good GUESS (at least for the state) while looking at the ADULT coloration on the males. Once your chucks mature, post pics (or better yet, try and contact the people whm you bought them from) for everyone to make an educated guess.

The MAJORITY of animals for sale in the hobby (and almost ALL WC animals) are out of Nevada- the only state allowing commercial collection on desert lizards.
