Hello, take your monitor to the vet and have it throughly checked. Then read up on actual real monitor husbandry.

Keeping their eyes closes is a real sign of stress. To tell how important this is, monitors do not stress easily and by the time they show external symtoms, its very late in the process.

So please off to the vet and good luck, because good reptile vets are indeed hard to find(ones with real experience)(they all can read the same junk you do online)

Sorry for saying junk, but it is what it is. The first hint is, you bought as wild caught monitor at a reptile show. Good luck and best wishes
