Hey everyone, Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a very "herp friendly" yard down here in Texas. One species that I see on a nightly basis is Tropidoclonion lineatum texanum (Texas Lined Snake). My neighbors aren't as happy about seeing herps as I am, so I routinely get asked to remove what they seem to think are "copperheads" from their yards. I am fascinated with fossorial species and have always wanted to try my hand at keeping and breeding them. Does anyone have any experience with Lined or Rough Earth Snakes? I have plenty of experience in keeping local herps (Currently, I keep Elaphe lindheimeri, Sceloporus olivaceusso, Terrapene carolina, and Bufo speciosus). I will only be going in somewhat blind. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
