Posted by: dan felice at Tue Jun 11 04:25:46 2013 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by dan felice ] bob, i can't really shed any light on the gene concept.....because i don't know. i'm not a gene guy. i don't really care for the albinos, patternless & all the other forms out there. i just like clean animals. that one pic you showed of the 2012 baby crum x still is accurate. all the babies from that line look pretty much like that. i can tell you that the red color fades as they get bigger to what i call a burnt orange. i was going to say that it looks like ms. crum x still will lay any day but i would be wrong.....she's laying right now. that may be the quickest pre-lay shed to eggs i think i ever saw, 10 days. naturally, she missed the nest box. :>/ anyway, thanks for showing me my old pics as i seem to somehow lost mine.
