Great shots, I can't believe you got a pic of a Coachwhip, they are usually on the move the second you see one!



Coachwhips are by far the most challenging snake (for me) to catch.



The pic you have of the Black Rat...could it be a melanistic yellow rat?



Yes I realize that they are supposed to be the same, but I'm wondering if you found the "black rat" in a primarily "yellow rat" area.
