I am visiting Seattle from Alaska and I found a three toed box turtle in a parking lot this morning. I have tried finding a reptile rescue but no luck. The shell is slightly cracked but the turtle seems healthy and full of energy otherwise. I think the shell can be repaired with epoxy. It does need a little TLC. Beak needs a good trim and the toe nails are way overgrown.
I'm willing to repair the shell and trim the toe nails and try to trim the beak down a little. The problem is I leave to go back to Alaska next week and this turtle will need a home. Anyone in the area willing to take it? I'm staying on 35th Street SW.
