If so, I may be able to rehome it for you. Or, meet halfway between Seattle & Vancouver, WA to save me time.

You likely have long since rehomed it, but if it is still in Seattle and still needs a home, please contact me.

Seeking Box Turtle or Russian Tortoise for Free/Rehome/Trade
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have decades of reptile experience, and I’ve previously kept Slider & Painted turtles. I currently have two snakes in 55-gallon and 100-gallon vivariums.
Our one-acre yard is very shaded, partly converted to a nature zone, and has a frog pond. I want to add a land-based turtle or tortoise. I would keep it indoors in cool months; and allow supervised play in the yard & frog pond in warm months.
I prefer a Box turtle or Russian tortoise.
Unemployed, I have no money for rehoming fees. I can trade for a heat reflector & cover or bulbs, an illustrated kingsnake book or a Miami corn snake.
Or, take a turtle rescue from a home no longer able to care for it, in a situation of mutual benefit. I *will* provide a long-term home with proper diet & care..
