Reptifogger positioning

I currently have my zoomed reptifogger pointing vertically down into my BRBs enclosure. This does mean that the substrate directly below gets pretty soaked. I was considering repositioning the hose so it is positioned at a 45 degree angle, or even horizontally, into the enclosure. I would do this by attaching an elbow joint to the hose. Has anyone had experience with doing this? Thanks
