Curious why you think Animal Plastics cages would hold humidity MUCH better. Both are plastic box style cages, Once the AP cage is assembled and sealed it's pretty much the same as Boaphile with the only difference being the door. Neither cage has additional venting.

I do admit I like Animal Plastics sliding bypass doors but I believe they will have similar venting properties to the Boaphile drop front door. In my snake room though it makes little difference as the whole room is humid.

I have purchased racks and cages from Boaphile and I have also purchased Racks from Animal Plastics. Both Jeff and Ali have given me top notch service. Both have large backlogs of orders and take a couple of months plus to receive your order.
