Viper boa always in water bowl

I bought a viper boa a couple months back at a show. The problem I am having now is that she has only eaten once and that was a live rat pink and she also is always in her water bowl. Can anyone give me some advice. I have tons of other snakes but this is my first viper boa. I appreciate any help.
