An African Rock Python escaped a pet store and entered the apartment above the store, killing 2 little boys who lived there. Neither was consumed. I don't "do" snakes, only lizards, so I don't know their nature. It would be my impression that a constrictor would only kill prey it was going to eat, not kill one thing and then another and eat neither. What's the deal with African Rock Pythons, then?
